EVENT
Antarctica Excursion Cancellation
- During one of the tech-themed Geek Cruises, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak signed up for a highly anticipated excursion to step foot on the frozen continent of Antarctica.
- Going on the excursion required purchasing and transporting two entire trunks worth of heavy, specialized cold-weather clothes for a single day's excursion.
- I chose not to purchase or haul the massive cold-weather wardrobe.
- At the very last minute, the excursion was cancelled, completely vindicating my minimalist, pragmatic packing philosophy and leaving Woz and the others with heavy, unused gear.
