- Chase Masterson is an American actress and singer, best known for her role as Leeta on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

- Meeting at the Bar & DragonCon Invitation (June 2003): During the Hawaiian Cruise Trek (coincident on the same ship as the MacMania 2 and PerlWhirl 2003 Geek Cruise), I met Chase at the ship's bar. Not having watched Deep Space Nine, I didn't know who she was, but we started up a conversation. I urged her to join the upcoming DragonCon Guest Streak convention where I was already confirmed as a guest. She took my advice, attended, and ended up presenting at one of the convention's awards banquets.
- Bright Horizons 10 & Paramount Cruise Meetings: Met her again on the Bright Horizons 10 Cruise in October 2011, and on the first official Paramount Star Trek Cruise. Coincidentally, met both her and Lawrence Krauss on both InSight Cruises and Paramount cruises.
