Southwest Oregon Regional Airport
- Southwest Oregon Regional Airport (FAA LID:
OTH, ICAO:KOTH), historically known as North Bend Municipal Airport, is a public airport in North Bend, Oregon, on the central-southern Oregon Coast. - Notably features an Air Traffic Control Tower, making it the only towered airport on the Oregon Coast.
- Built on a peninsula bounded by Coos Bay and the Pacific Ocean, approaching from the east means flying inland over the mountains of the Oregon Coast Range, while approaching from the west is directly out over the Pacific Ocean.
- Setting of Randal's student pilot position report slip: declaring himself "5 miles west" (placing him over the open ocean) before quickly correcting to "5 miles east inbound."
- See The Student Solo Cross-Country and Five Miles West over the Pacific.
