MacBook Pro USB-C Port Discovery
- After upgrading to my 2021 Apple MacBook Pro, I spent three months juggling cables (for my media hub, backup disk, and iPhone) between only two USB-C ports, lamenting the loss of the four USB-C ports on my 2017 MacBook Pro.
- On May 20, 2023, while looking to plug my iPhone back in, I accidentally plugged it into the opposite side of the laptop next to the HDMI and media-card slots.
- Upon checking the specifications, I realized the laptop actually features a third USB-C port that I had completely missed for three months, simplifying my backup routines.
