- I tested the AI search assistant Perplexity AI by asking: "Does a bar in Oregon need to serve food?"
- The AI returned an answer that humorously conflated Oregon drinking establishments with the legal profession:
- It listed food requirements for restaurants and drinking bars (such as offering at least five different meals and having 30 dining seats before 10:00 p.m.).
- It then added: "These requirements do not apply to lawyers seeking admission to the Oregon State Bar, which has its own set of requirements."
