- Roller skating (particularly roller disco) was one of my first major performative physical activities and a key social outlet during the 1980s.
- This scene was also shared by Bill Harp, who worked as a DJ at Hillsboro Skate World, anchoring a shared community that blended rollerskating, performance, and music.
