Post-Surgery Skating Dreams
- On November 26, 2016, my brother and his wife invited me to join them for a roller skating outing.
- I seriously contemplated going, which would have represented a significant milestone in my hip replacement and surgery recovery.
- However, I decided to wait a couple more months before attempting to skate, and planned to retrieve my high-end $450 skates (purchased in 1990) from storage rather than using rentals.
