Meeting Mariel Hemingway
- A heartwarming personal milestone where I met actress Mariel Hemingway, whom I jokingly refer to as my celebrity "twin" sister.
Background and Connection
- Mariel Hemingway and I share the exact same birthdate: November 22, 1961. Because of this, I long referred to her as my "twin" sister.
- We first connected digitally in 2011 during a 50th birthday exchange on Twitter, where I shared a video of my 35th birthday party (which was also "our" 35th birthday party).
The Meeting
- On April 14, 2015, while in Los Angeles, I finally got to meet Mariel in person.
- The encounter was even more wonderful than expected. She warmly remembered our Twitter exchange and noted that she had watched the birthday party video.
- She was incredibly kind and beautiful inside and out.
