Commuting Without Headlights

The Commute

• On March 13, 2014, during a short 2-mile, 6-minute commute from my hotel to work, I spotted three separate cars driving without their headlights on.
• It was still dark outside—about ten minutes before official sunrise—making the cars nearly invisible.
• It left me wondering why these drivers never look down at their dashboards to notice their lack of lights.
