Step Expression
- On March 27, 2024, commenting on the foreword to Learning Perl (1993) on Hacker News, I reflected on my early relationship with code.
- I started programming early, around age 9.
- I've always had a natural talent for it, but more than that, just a core sense that it is fun to work out how to express complex procedures in terms of smaller, reusable steps.
