- A personal milestone marking the rapid expansion of my family generations.
The Milestone
- I had been a newly discovered grandfather for a little over a year, and had just attended my daughter's wedding in early May 2025.
- On May 26, 2025, my daughter's new husband's daughter gave birth to a baby girl.
- This officially made me a Great-Step-Grandpa, a milestone I had never anticipated reaching.
Karaoke Celebration
- Feeling the weight of the years, I began frequently singing the Beatles song "When I'm 64" at my weekly Karaoke sessions.
- The song was especially fitting as I was rapidly approaching my own 64th birthday.
