Muscat and Oman Flag Art Project
- A childhood story demonstrating my practical "work smarter, not harder" philosophy.
The Project
- In fifth grade, during a social studies class, we were given art supplies to reproduce the flag of a country of our choice.
- Because of my aphantasia, I have always hated and struggled with art and drawing.
- To find a workaround, I researched country flags and discovered that the flag for "Muscat and Oman" was a solid, plain red.
- I took a single sheet of red construction paper, labeled it, and proudly turned it in as my completed flag.
- It hung on the wall with the others, a perfect representation of my approach to solving problems.
