Stolen iPhone in a Restaurant
- A travel inconvenience caused by the theft of my iPhone in June 2012.
The Theft
- In June 2012, I had my iPhone stolen right off my table at a restaurant when I briefly turned the other way.
- Despite enabling Apple's Find My iPhone feature, it was not helpful in recovering the device.
- I was forced to buy a replacement phone and restore my data from backups, which proved to be a frustrating experience.
