- The "Alpaca Book," originally titled "Learning Perl Objects, References & Modules" and later updated/renamed to "Intermediate Perl," is a follow-up to the Llama book, co-authored by me, brian d foy, and Tom Phoenix.
History & Scope
- First published in 2003, it guides programmers from basic scripting to intermediate Perl development, focusing on object-oriented Programming, references, writing modules, and CPAN.
- The book's cover features an alpaca, following O'Reilly's animal theme.
