Private Pilot License
- A Private Pilot License (PPL) is a pilot license that permits the holder to act as Pilot in Command (PIC) of an aircraft non-commercially.
- Requires passing FAA written exams, ground school, and flight maneuvers (minimum 35 to 40 flight hours).
- Randal Schwartz earned his PPL at Eagle Flight Center in approximately 39 flight hours across 2–3 months of intensive daily training in 1989.
