- Cane Garden Bay is a beautiful beach and bay located on the northern coast of Tortola in the British Virgin Islands.
Memories & Cruises
- This is one of my and Neil Bauman's absolute favorite port-of-call destinations in the Eastern Caribbean. Whenever our cruises dock at Road Town, we grab a cab and take our traditional jaunt across the mountain to Myett's Bar on the beach.
- December 2004 (Dot-Net Nirvana 3 Cruise): Neil and I grabbed a cab and took a short trip over to the north side of the island. The drinks at the beachside bar/internet cafe were so good that I couldn't recall the name of the internet cafe in my journal!
- October 2005 (Website Wave Cruise): We took our traditional cab ride across the island to enjoy Myett's on Cane Garden Bay. See Baltic Sea Geek Cruise and other 2005 cruise memories.
- January 2006 (Chess Moves Geek Cruise): Made our traditional trek to Myatt's Bar during the Chess Moves cruise. Many of our fellow geekcruisers also showed up on Cane Garden Beach based on our recommendation. See Neil Baumans Chess Victory over Larry Christiansen.
