    • On April 23, 2021, I struggled with AppleScript to perform a basic task of clicking a button in a window.
    • I discovered that the script required making the window visible for a few seconds before dismissing it to work.
    • I jokingly apologized to my friend Sal Soghoian (Apple's former Automation Product Manager) and concluded that AppleScript requires super programmers rather than casual users.
