MacMania 4 Cruise
- MacMania 4 Cruise (February 4 – February 11, 2006), also co-branded as "Photoshop Fling 3", was a combined technology and digital design educational voyage organized by Geek Cruises (Insight Cruises) and co-produced by Macworld. It sailed the Mexican Riviera aboard Holland America's M.S. Oosterdam.
Double-Track Curriculum
- The cruise offered parallel tracks for Macintosh automation, Apple technologies, and professional photo editing:
- MacMania Tracks: Covered Macintosh fundamentals, OS X Tiger productivity, Automator, AppleScript, and creative suites. Sessions were led by Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, broadcaster Leo Laporte, Apple automation PM Sal Soghoian, and Macworld editors Jason Snell and Christopher Breen.
- Photoshop Tracks: Focused on Adobe Photoshop CS2, color management, digital camera raw processing, and professional workflow. Sessions were led by digital artists and authors Deke McClelland, Bert Monroy, Jack Davis, and Bruce Fraser.
- The cruise offered parallel tracks for Macintosh automation, Apple technologies, and professional photo editing:
